There once was a beautiful green orange tree.
He stood high and waved his long branches in the cool sunny breeze.
Swinging on his branches were dozens and dozens of Mandarins, all laughing and giggling and cursing when they plummetted to their deaths...
One little Mandarin in particular stood out.
He was the smallest of all the Mandarins, and he knew himself to be the sourest of all.
He struggled with his small size.
While all the other Mandarins were so happy bouncing and singing and dancing in the wind and shade of the beautiful green orange tree, the little Mandarin was often sad and sullen.
One day, the beautiful green orange tree smiled and looked onto the little Mandarin.
He said, "Little Mandarin, why are you out of measure sad?"
The little Mandarin looked up to the beautiful green tree and replied: "I am filled with sourness, and no one will ever love me."
"That is simply not so." Replied the beautiful green tree.
"How can you know for sure?" Replied the little Mandarin.
"I have raised hundreds of Mandarins over the years, little Mandarin. Look at your brothers and sisters all around you. Are they not all different from you? You are special. Unique. I made you just the way you are."
It was at that moment that the little Mandarin realized how wonderful being small was.
A feeling of imense joy filled the little Mandarin.
It felt as if he had just been reborn, and found himself brand new.
"Thank you beautiful green orange tree, for you many wisdoms."
"My pleasure little Mandarin. Now dance and sing in the wind, and never let go so as to avoid the long plummit downwards to your death."

Blankly
Sitting here... staring blankly at this monitor... I have the urge to write.
Problem: I don't have the slightest clue what to say.
Solution: working on it... till then just write till something comes.
What is that urge that wells up inside of us? Why do we have it? A really smart guy told me once that the desire to create is humanity's strongest impulse. We were made in the image of God, and the first thing that we know God did was create. Maybe that explains my restlessness.
But not entirely. I just can't get my head around it. So I'll continue to stare at this screen as I start to sail away into dream land.
Who has the answer key to the exam of life?
I think I wanna steal it.

You gonna write a poem?
Cake
Beautiful
Wonderful
Celebrations of birth and life
Noise makers
Party hats
Freaking annoying kids
Presents being opened
Wrapping paper everywhere
Candles with wax and cake batter
yum
all gone
the end
